Introduction

Most maps are published by the United States Government, and are received through the Federal Depository Library Program. As the University Library is not a depository library, it has a relatively small number of maps.
 
Map cases containing large atlases are located in the Library's Reference Area; other maps and atlases can be searched in the Stout Library Catalog and located in other areas in the library.
