Most websites are not appropriate for scholarly research, but some websites are necessary for scholarly research. To decide if a website is appropriate, ask:
Is the author or organization considered an expert?
Is the information checked for accuracy?
Is the information provided to inform or persuade (bias)?
Is the information kept up-to-date?
When in doubt, ask you professor!
