Thesis Templates  

Click on the Templates tab to download either a research paper or grant proposal project template. Templates are provided and maintained by the UW-Stout Graduate School. They are based on APA 6th ed. style.

Do not cut and paste your information into the template. Instead, use the template as a guide to create your thesis in a new document.

Search Tips 
To search for a thesis by: Enter this into the search box...
Date Enter the year as a keword, e.g. 2012
Type: Plan A Enter plana as a keyword (No spaces between)
Type: Plan B Enter planb as a keyword (No spaces between)
Type: Ed Specialist

Enter ed spec as a keyword (Needs a space between)

Type: Ed.D.

Enter  "Ed.D. University of Wisconsin Stout" as a keyword (as typed including quotation marks)

Type: M.F.A.

Enter  "MFA University of Wisconsin Stout" as a keyword (as typed including quotation marks)


Enter the author's last name as a keyword.  If it is a common name, also enter the first name in any order, e.g.

Smith Josephine  or Josephine Smith


Enter the Advisor's name, e.g.

Amy Gillett (No need to enter last name first)


Enter keywords and/or key phrases, e.g.

technology education
suicide prevention
substance abuse


Enter program name and the word PROGRAM  e.g.

Career and Technical Education Program
Risk Control Program
Mental Health Counseling Program

Prior to Dec. 1999

Theses on microfiche are located in cabinets in the Library's Periodical Area, 2nd Floor.

DE students may request a copy of a microfiche thesis through Borrow from Other Libraries / ILLiad login.
Be sure to indicate that you are a DE student on the form.
